Course Recognition

One of the common questions we are asked is who our courses are "sanctioned by".

All of our courses are based on the standards of care established and published by the Wilderness Medical Society (www.wms.org) and also by the Wilderness Emergency Medical Services Institute (www.wemsi.org)". 

We have taught our courses in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, West Virginia, New York, North Carolina, Texas, Montana, Utah, Ohio, and in Ireland, Scotland, and Trinidad and Tobago.

To date, we have never had an issue having one of our courses approved as meeting certification requirements.  We will be more than happy to work with any group, governmental agency, or certifying agency to provide the needed details and background to have our courses approved.
